The story of Waterfall began with a heart-wrenching silence.
Our founder witnessed a beloved elder gradually become “disconnected” at a family gathering due to hearing loss. He saw not joyful conversation, but strained efforts to listen followed by puzzled smiles, and weary nods pretending to understand. In that moment, he realized that losing hearing meant losing far more than sound—it meant losing the vital connection to loved ones and to life itself.

We saw that many existing products were merely cold amplifiers, failing to solve the core problem of hearing clearly in noise, with complicated controls creating further barriers. We believed technology should be a bridge, not a barrier.
